 Classes

Abu Hurairah (RA) Said: Rasulu-Allah (SAW) said,

   “Whoever seeks out a path in search of knowledge (of Deen), Allah will make for him from that path an easy path to Jannah and Whoever persons assemble in one of the Mosques of Allah, recite the Quran and study it among themselves, There will descend upon them tranquility,
mercy will cover them, the angels will surround them and Allah will mention them in the presence of those near Him”.

Quran Class for children:

 1. Objective



     Due to the extreme importance of having our Muslim children attached to Islam, and brought up to the true Islamic models. HIS organizes a regular weekly lesson for Quran recitation to teach children of Muslim brothers how Quran should be read according to the correct rules of Quran recitation. The goal is to master the principles of reading Quran and memorizing the phrases taught in each class correctly, taking into consideration the difficulty of reaching to these kids that are of different ages and different languages.

2. Description



     Quran recitation is one of the blessed worship actions in Islam. The recitation is based on defined science and rules that deals with the Arabic pronunciation of letters in different contexts, also memorizing new phrases and being able to recite them perfectly according to these rules is a must. The class takes place once a week on
Sunday at noon. The duration of the class is about 1 hour, and is given on volunteer basis.

3. Plan

      The class is scheduled to read and recite Quran in a correct way,. During the weekly class each child reads one page, recites and memorizing the page, of less than a page depending on his age. The parents of the children make sure through out the week that the children are memorizing the page they had last class.

Quran Tajweed

 1. Objective

     HIS organizes a regular weekly lesson for Quran recitation and Tajweed to teach Muslims how Quran should be read according to the correct rules of Quran recitation (Tajweed). The goal is to master the principles of reading Quran correctly.

2. Description

     Quran recitation is one of the blessed worship actions in Islam. The recitation is based on defined science and rules that deals with the Arabic pronunciations of letters in different contexts. The class takes place once a week on Monday before Ishaa prayer (night prayer). The duration of the class is about 1 hour,and is given on volunteer basis.

3. Plan

     The class is scheduled to cover all the rules of Tajweed and practicing by reading the Holy Quran. During the weekly class each believer reads one page and learn the rules of recitation included in such page. At the end of the class the believers supplicate to Allah to have guidance and forgiveness.

Fiqh Class

 1. Objective



     HIS organizes a regular weekly lesson for Fiqh. This class aims to teach Muslims what is obligatory, allowed or forbidden in Islam. The goal is to know the opinion of the religion about different aspects of life and act accordingly. Knowing Fiqh is a every important matter that no Muslim can neglect.

2. Description


     Fiqh is the science that deals with the opinion of religion regarding all aspects of life, including but not limited to worship (prayer, alms, fasting, pilgrimage etc.) and dealings (trade, marriage, juridical system etc.). The class takes place every week on Thurasday after Zuhr prayer (noon prayer).The duration of the class is about 30 minutes, and is given by a member of HIS on volunteer basis. The book used as a reference for this class is ”Fiqh Essunah” by ”Sayeed Sabiq”.

3. Plan

     The class is scheduled to cover one chapter per lesson. Each chapter will be read in Arabic and then translated to other languages.

Jum`ah Prayer

      We organize Jum`ah prayer in our masjid, The adzan followed by khotba start at 12:15 noon every Friday. We encourage you to come as early as possible.

Tharaweeh Prayer in Ramadan

     Tharaweeh prayer in Ramadan is conducted every day in the mosque, were the Holy Quran is all read throughout the month. It is a holy event that HIS try always to keep it running to take advantage of the holy month and strengthen the bonds among Muslims in the society.
